Draft - Grain, light raisin, cocoa and bread. Clear copper with a decent white head. Bready, vanilla, grains and a dry finish. Barleywine? Odd and more like an olde ale.

Draft - Grapefruit and Skunky pine. Clear gold with a rich white head. Sweet light skunk and a big long vegetal bitterness.

Aroma: The aroma is pine hops over citrus, some chocolate and roasted malts
Appearance: It pours a dark brown-black color with a light brown-sh-tan head and decent lace
Flavor: It is balanced between hop bitterness and roast/sweet malts, leans bitter on the close
Palate: The body is medium, it is pretty easy drinking, and has a dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a well-made and enjoyable Black IPA (or Cascadian Dark if you prefer). Another nice one from NODA.

Tallboy can from Bruisin Ales. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of doughy malt, caramel, mild spicy hops. The taste is spicy, herbal, citrus hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness.

Aroma: The nose is chocolate milkshake, coconut, and some underlying black coffee.
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with a frothy head and some fairly heavy lacing.
Flavor: The flavor is sweet and chocolaty, there's some unsweet coffee bitterness too.
Palate: It is fairly full bodied and creamy, with a nice, smooth feel, and a soft carbonation.
Overall Impression: I really enjoyed this one. The lightly unsweet coffee makes it more of a balanced beer than I probably would have guessed, and upped the enjoyment factor for me as well.

16 oz can poured into a tulip, thanks to my friend Ben! Clear golden orange with almost two fingers of beige head. Aromas of citrus, floral, biscuit, toasty notes. Tastes of grapefruit citrus, floral notes, biscuit, toasty notes. Medium body with a dry finish.

Tap. Pours clear reddish black, medium creamy tan head, great lacing. Aroma is roasty, cocoa, tobacco. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, almost a chocolate liqueur thing going on, interesting. Roasty and a bit bitter on the finish. Medium body. Solid.

Flavor: The flavor is similar to the nose, well balanced, with a clean, bitter finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, easy drinking, pretty clean, with a soft, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is an enjoyable APA from NODA. Definitely an easy drinking, crushable brew. Can of these would do well at pools, tailgates, etc.
