On tap @ NoDa with jcnielsen. Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Veggie / DMS, cabbage, slightly fruity, bland aroma. Two food groups offered in the aroma. Thin. Twangy, tart citrusy, cream of corn flavor. This should probably stay a one time release. Not good though not Riverslime vomit inducing gross, so they got that going for them.

On tap @ NoDa with jcnielsen. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Lots of grapefruit and tropical fruits like pineapple in the aroma. Smells a bit hot and maybe goopy. Moderate bitterness and sweetness. Finishes pretty bitter. Slight resin from the hops and some fruits. Not too bad but certainly not as well created or enjoyable as the non-imperial version.

Location: 16 oz Can at Big Daddy Burger Bar @ CLT, 12/21/13

Aroma: The nose is resiny and big on hops, fresh aroma, tropical and citrus hops too
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden color with an off-white head and some lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, clean and resiny, nice bitterness, balancing sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a soft, clean feel, and a nice, dry finish
Overall Impression: I really enjoyed this one. I may have enjoyed it too much, coming back from drinking way too many dull lagers in the Caribbean, but I just really enjoyed it. It has a very nice hop flavor, and was a wonderful surprise.

Bomber from Bestway. Pours a clear amber color with a thin frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of candi sugar, cotton candy, bread, melon, stone fruits. The taste is earth, herbal hops, melon, cotton candy, candi sugar. Light bodied, low carbonation, slight booziness. On the sweet side, but does maintain decent balance.
