18 December 2024. Christmas Beer Evening with the lovely Anke! Bottle from Mr. Hop.

A: clear brown, thin, off-white head.
A: toasted chestnut, brown bread, toast, almond, apple peel.
T: sweetish red apple, bitter herbs, toast, chestnut.
F: herbal hops, toast, nuts, bread, warming liqueur-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Nicely dry and malty, but lacking a bit of body.

F: bitter herbal hops, toasted nuts, apple peel.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Clean and dry, nice.

Bottle picked up from Globus, Plattling and consumed at home Wednesday 23rd April 2025. We've got Chicken and Pork Meatballs with Spaghetti and we're listening to ByteFM. Pours mid amber edging towards warm orange, good clarity, mid sized white head. Decent balance a little alcohol detected, malty with caramel flavours. Good but not amazing.

Bottle. Clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of apple vinegar, wort and some lemons. Taste of grains and wort, Apples and lemons. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Very bland and low on taste. That being said (and for what it’s worth) my faithful drinking companion still believes this to be a great refreshment on a hot summer‘s day.

Bottle at home Easter evening. Deep gold some head. Nose is cleaning liquid and pine. Tastes of pine, earthy, funky cheese. Maybe little skunked

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, white head - no lacings. Grainy, strawy, minimally bready, pale malty aroma, hints of silage, old grey bread, whiffs of horse dung. Taste is mildly bitter, grassy and minimally fruity hoppy with slightly mineral aspects, weak, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness, a touch of green apple, diluted, clear apple juice.
Watery texture, smooth and minimally dry palate, fine, scattered, soft carbonation.
Light, watery, fairly refreshing, rather unpleasant nose - needless, redundant, forgettable.

Bottle. Really love this style of beer. Nice balanced aroma. Wonderful patient head with spider web lacing. Balanced flavor with a slighly malty leaning in the flavor. Nice!!!
