Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity weak yeasty spicy citrus aroma. Fruity malty weak yeasty spicy flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty citrus finish.

Bottle thanks to Yanick. Pours dark brown with small tan head. Nose/taste of toffee, wood, caramel, bready malts, dark fruit and cocoa. Thick full inviting mouth feel. Great sipper!

Bottle. Very dark brown, large thick and foamy variegated brown head with good retention. Aroma of toasted cocoa nibs, burnt coffee. Taste is chocolate raspberry liqueur with a smokey edge. Very nice.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Wheaty aroam with citric hops, soap, fruit and yeast. Flavour balances between the erathy wheaty tone and the fruity hopinees.

Bottle. Bright golden color, large white head, good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of bitter citrus. Taste is similar with a bit of funk, bitter dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle courtesy of Jan & Charlotte, many thanks! consumed at home 29.12.11 Pours hazy yellow/gold with a white head. Tasty beer with yeastiness, fruitiness, decent hoppiness and some nice light tropical touches thrown in. There is a bit of overipe melon and some soft summer fruits, I get peachy and apricot flavours, also a little spicy. I threw this one down me neck a bit quick, very drinkable, very moreish. Bottled. Hazy pale golden, brief head. Fruity nose with spicy hops. Dryish with doughy malt forming a mid sized body. Plenty of fresh green hops, long spicy bitterness. Tasty and nicely drinkable for a 6.5% beer.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is very dark/burnt malt with a lot of herb/wood/spice. Full bodied. Flavor is sort of chocolate, going to smoked malt, going to spice, going to hop. There’s a lot going on in this one. It is very smooth, and a bit more sweet than not. After the sugars go away, the finish is bitter, and maybe even a touch rosemary. Hard to tell. Hellish good beer, and excessively drinkable.

Bottled Nov 2011 Pours a slightly cloudy deep copper/brown color with a decent sized beige head that shows moderate retention and lace. Smells of toffee and caramel with hints of chocolate and brown sugar. Bready chocolate aroma with a hint of peanut butter? I swear it smells like a peanut butter ball a little. Taste is malty sweet with lots of caramel and brown sugar up front. Dark fruits like dried cherries, plums, and prunes. A hint of warming alcohol comes in but is never harsh. Thick body with a sweet sticky mouthfeel and a low to moderate level of carbonation. This is a big beer that demands respect, but proves to be quite easy to consume. I enjoyed this, but I did find it a touch boring, on the other hand, I’d love to see how this ages.
