Cask at The 2010 Bishops Stortford Beer Festival. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops on a lightly malty background. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spicy hops, leading to a dry spicy hoppy finish. Both the hops and malt feels really chewy.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Poured pale gold with a thin white head; grapefruit aroma; grapefruit flavour with some slightly chewy sweet malts giving body; sharp clean grapefruit finish with biscuity undertones. A pleasant hop-led beer.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Attractive chestnut colour, thin beige head. Some roasty malt, good biscuit finish. Decent brown bitter.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. OK toasty beer. Not hugely hoppy, some dryness, but mostly toasted biscuit. Rather a nice session bitter.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, acrid toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100429]

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, earth - nutty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel nutty, toffee, moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peel bitter, wood. Cask, gravity at The Trigger Pond, Bucknell, St Georges Beer Festival 26-04-10 Gold in colour with a few stray bubbles, clean, clear appearance. Perhaps a tiny bit past its best as this was at the end of the Beer Festival but still in pretty reasonable nick. Some streaky lemon and bitter orange in the mouth, this bitterness clings to the back of the mouth and hangs around for a while. Citrus flavours continue, sweetness is slight though in the most part absent, quite good. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask. Hazy and opaque dark brown with an orange hue and a small off-white head. Roasted coffeeish nose. Thin and watery, roasted notes, a little coffee and nuts with a lightly phenollic edge. Discreet malty finish. 20010

Cask, handpump at The Cambridge Blue 27-03-10 Pours mid brown with an off-white head. This is another beer that looks in spankingly good nick and in fact is. Some light caramel and citrus are first to who, good depth to this, it not complicated beer but its bloody good, most enjoyable. A6 A5 F8 P4 Ov14 3.7
