Bottle from Bury Lane Farm Shop, nr Royston. Aroma combines malts and oats with a berry edge and cacao. Pours dark opaque brown. Foamy beige head. There's a bitter espresso and charcoal core. Over this there is a tangy berry layer. Sweet malts and oats take the edge off. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Didn't have high expectations but this is nice little Oatmeal.Stout.
