8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours cloudy dark orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet stewed fruits, orange pulp, herbal and wheaty notes. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Not a festival highlight.

Cask at the tiny tavern Lincoln. Bright golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma and taste are malty slight floral and dry. Medium body.

[ As Buntingford Oatmeal Stout ].
ABV: 4.4%. Clear medium to dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, fruity malt, oat - rye. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, oat - rye, dark malt, sweet malt, light chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190808]

8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, toffee, coffee, light liquorice and dried fruits. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily and watery, average to soft carbonation. Light ashy finish. Quite drinkable.
