500ml bottle, bottled january 11/2011.
Clear amber pour, small off white head. Great sweet bready, caramel malts. Flavor is packed with bitter floral hops. This is deserving of tops in its style!

On Tap at Volo
Good amount of citrus, and hops, kinda one dimensional, seems like there is some lat lacking, and I did find it a tad wattery. A good IPA, but really, i wasn’t blown away like i was expecting from everything i’ve read. There are other breweries in Ontario making better IPA’s.

On tap at C’est What? Bright golden pour, with a bright white head. Great aroma of grassy hops, and bready malt. The flavor is full of more outstanding bready, chewy malts, and some more of the grassy hops. A medium to low bitter finish. Man this is crisp, and I could drink this until i fell off my bar stool!! outstanding Pils!

Can from the LCBO. Dark cola colour with a large frothy khaki head that fades slowly and leaves some string lace. Nose is roasted malt, molasses, nuts, dark chocolate, light vanilla and some dark fruit. Light molasses sweetness with a medium- dark chocolate bitterness. Mouth is medium- with soft carbonation and a dry finish. 8-/4/7+/3+/15-

Slight hazy, bright golden-yellow colour with a big frothy white cap, good retention and lots of foamy lacing patches. The yeast in the aromas make me feel like there is wheat in here, with banana notes. Could be a blend of the hops giving some grassiness, citrus with some sweet malts. Hints of apples and pears almost. Gets hazier as it goes, with some particles. The taste shows some apple-pear notes again with mild grass in the finish. Some orange thing happening in the background. Kind of juicy, but missing the NEIPA action, with the wrong hops here. No oatmeal as well.

Dark brown colour with copper highlights. A nice creamy, frothy warm-beige head with good retention and some nice creamy lacing. Roasted malt aromas with some dark fruit notes and molasses. This is the same in the flavours with some decent hoppy dry finish. Not a bad dark lager.

A dark imperial stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice for a 2009 beer. In mouth, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, alcohol warmth, light plums, pleasant and smooth. Bottle from 2009.

This black lager poured a deep black colour with a creamy, brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel malts, mild coffee and toast. First swig was delicious. Flavours of lightly bitter hops, coffee and chocolate. Finish is really roasty with burnt flavour lingering.
