Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - pale malt, sweetcorn and boiled vegetables. Taste - green beans, pale malt, citrus and finishing with a green peppercorn hop spice note. Palate - creamy and light to medium bodied. Dry pils finish. Overall - good example of the style.

50cl Bottle from Cairngorm brewery. Just slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of bready malts, light grassy, soft lemon note. Flavour is light to medium sweet, malty, grassy, light lemony, light floral, soft bitter finish. Light bodied. Decent stuff.

50cl Bottle from the brewery, ABV is 4.4%. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of lovely nutty roast, caramel, mocha, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavour is a lot lighter than the aroma suggests, but with the same qualities. Soft and smooth, rich and tasty low ABV milk stout. Good.

Clear golden colour, moderate sized white head; typical lager aroma and taste with some fruitiness; not bad...my only problem is that according to the label on the bottle, it os not a golden ale but rather a lager with 4.5 abv

Bottle from The Avenue Store. Clear amber/brown body with a thin off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of tea, chocolate and wood. Flavour of Earl Grey tea, brown sugar and red berries. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Fantastic.

It's.... a lager. It's a decent lager, with a hint of zesty sweetness without being sickly, quite crisp, smooth aftertaste and that. The hops and the very slightly fruitiness balance well while still being a clean, fresh taste. But it's not going to knock your socks off. Does it's job fine.
