Pours clear golden with a decent sized white head. Aroma is pretty bad, actually. Medium, relativly smooth body. tastes much better than it smells, but thats not saying much. Grains, malt, sweet, and metallic. No finish. Much better macros out there.

Gold with a large white head. Classic Japanese pale lager aroma of sweet malt, corn and yeast. Mouth is thin, but smooth. Flavor is boring. Malts overwhelm the tastebuds followed by light hops. Like most other pale lagers it’s not bad, just not worth a second chance.

Pours a clear gold with subtle amber tones and a medium, off white head. Aroma is sweet malt with a little fruit. Flavor is slightly grassy, malt, and sweet. Ends with a decent bitterness. Has a medium body. The best Kirin I’ve had to date, but I don’t know if thats saying much.

Medium offwhite head. Yellow body with carbonation. Dryish grassy hop taste. Very soft, no aftertaste, very little taste overall. Traces of apple and water. Dry empty aftertaste. Definitely among the better happoshus, which doesn’t say much. (0.35l can.)

Pours golden clear with a large, creamy white head. Run of the mill "Premium Lager" aroma of malt and sweet corn. Smooth mouth. Doesn’t taste too bad, malt, and maybe some light citrus. Has a slightly bitter finish. Meh, it’s OK.

Big offwhite coarse shiny head quickly collapses entirely. Yellow body with carbonation. Light boiled vegetable aroma with buttery notes. Taste is strange watery vegetables and butter. Vague orangey background. Dryish empty aftertaste. Awful. (0.35l can.)

Small white head quickly disappears. Pale yellow body with some carbonation. Light buttery grassy hop aroma. Taste is light and grassy hops with very soft mouthfeel. Some butter also detectable. Dry chalky aftertaste. Not bad, but a bit boring. (0.33l bottle.)

Can. Pours a medium brown with ruby highlites and a nice light tan head. Aroma is sweet malt with a light roast note as well. Brown sugar and toasted crackers are there, too. Aroma isn’t bad, but it’s very unnoticeable. Mouth is thin and creamy. Has a pleasent, though not remarkable, flavor. Sweet malt, brown sugar, and a metallic edge. Finishes with more metal than anything. Won’t be missed.

Medium shiny white lasting head. Deepish yellow body with carbonation. Light metallic caramel aroma with notes of butter. Dry grassy hop taste with buttery malty notes and a chalky bitter background. The hops are exquisite, but the rest really sucks. Dry metallic grass aftertaste. A curate`s egg, really. (0.5l can.)

Biggish offwhite head. Golden body. Light malty aroma with faint grain and apple notes. Taste is bitter fruity grain and chalk, stronger than expected. Dry chalky grassy aftertaste. Not bad, but I could do without the bitter chalkiness. (0.35l can.)
