Shared bottle at RB/HB on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Clear golden. Strong aroma of bitter marzipan and almonds. Refreshing taste, with plums and marzipan and a slight sourness. Quite refreshing!

0.33l bottle. Hazy deep orange body, thin but lasting white head. The aroma is slightly smoky upfront, then ripe banana, bread and toast appears with maybe some peach. Taste of smoke, tobacco, banana, bread and some earthy hops. A bit thin but otherwise a very nice beer. Interesting choice to release a smoked beer for Christmas, that’s for sure. I look forward to the recipes they’ll post to pair this beer with.

Klare goldene Farbe, mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, leicht hopfig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, getreidig malzig, langweilig.

OK smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grains, yeast, citric, some flowery notes, herbs. finishes lightly bitter with herbs and yeast. OKish beer, not too special but drinkable none the less.

Bottled 330ml. -from Tasco Budaörs. Unclear golden coloured,small white head, light malty nose. Moderate malty, grassy, bready and yeasty notes with some random bitterness in the finish. Pretty average.
