Célestin - La Micro-Brasserie du Vieux-Lille
Microbrewery
in Lille,
Hauts-de-France,
France 🇫🇷
Associated Venue: Les Bières de Célestin
Established in 2014
Eight generations of brewers follow one another faithfully, each bringing their own touch of know-how and excellence. After 60 years of interruption, I take up the family torch with pride, and pay tribute to my grandfather and his intuition: the CÉLESTIN micro-brewery was born in 2014 in Old Lille.
Linked to almost 300 years of family brewing history, the Célestin brewery is known to be one of the region’s first micro-breweries to set up in an urban setting. It is in the heart of Old Lille that Amaury, descendant of a family of brewers, sets up his micro-brewery and a beer cellar.
Due to the success of the brewery, a second production site was opened in 2017 just outside the center of Lille.

Dark gold to copper in colour. Lasting fluffy head. A solid 'good old' IPA with prominent citrus and pine. A touch of caramel malt sweetness in the finish.

Golden colour with lasting lacy head. It's a basic but solid blond. Quite plain and simple. Really dry finish.
Kinda disappointing. Was expecting more fruit & acidity.

Bière pression bue au Berthom a Lille. Fraîche, sympa, mais pas assez sur le côté fruité et herbacé du houblon a mon goût.
