Keg at the hanging bat. Pours dark brown, thick tan head. Aromas of fry’s chocolate limes, prunes, faint saline. Taste is roasted bitter, with a plummy backnote. Hangs together very nicely.

[ As Hammerton N7 Pale Ale ].Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, flowers, light grapefruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, crispy hops, light grapefruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140809]

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clear gold with a small glow and a small smooth head. Well hopped in its nose, dry in both aroma and taste with some fruitiness.

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of straw, apricot and orange. Flavour is light and flinty - grapefruit, minerals, orange and mint. Medium body with an oily texture. Fizzy. Very crisp and refreshing. Nice.
