Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Black dark brown cola colour beer with thick thick lasting tan head. Hoppy roast malt aroma. Some chocolate in the mouth but also a bit of almost milky choc as well. Hop bitterness and roasted malt finish. Never my favourite style and there is a weird malt thing going on but it’s ok I guess.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival 2015 with chriso, Boudicca, fonefan and Charlotte, pleasure! Called Geist Wheat and described as a white IPA at 5.2%, I’m not sure if this is the right beer, but here goes. Cloudy yellow color. Aroma of lemon bubblegum and pepper. Taste has peppery sour lemon and grapefruit. Sounds about right.

Gravity cask at Nottingham festival with fonefan, Charlotte, Boudicca & chriso. Clear amber maroon color. Nice aroma of chocolate covered pine needles dipped in chocolate. Taste is bitter and roasty. Light body. Nose is great. The rest is so-so.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours pale gold. Quite a fruity hop taste with a touch of grassy citrus and bitter finish. Fairly average.

Tap at Islington CBC. Malty, earthy, grassy nose. Deep. Very earthy and dry flavor, some caramel and grain. Super dry and hoppy finish with a big hop burn. Dig it.

Cask at Tapping the Admiral. Clouded golden orange coloured pour with a fading frothy white head. Aroma is doughy grains, clove and some tropical notes, banana and tangy grains. Flavour is composed of full doughy wheat, grains, tangy wheat, citrus hop, spicy citrus rind. Palate is doughy and a bit flabby, maybe would be better on keg. OK hoppy hefe.

Cask at the Hanging Bat. Pours black with a thick beige head. Aromas of burnt orange, toffee. Taste is bitter orange, roast, burnt sugar. Creamy texture, bitter finish.
