Light haze on this gold beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a fine biting crispness. Very light malts. A fair serving of floral yeasty bitterness. Light citric peel and lemon. A sharp crisp finish. Quitte drinkable.

Bottled@AIH53 (from AbM). Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, wooden and mildly toffeeish with some earthy notes. Flavour is floral, zesty, some mild resiny and mildly grassy bitter notes along with some malty sweetness to it.

Dark amber color, steady off-white head. Citrus and pale maltyness in the aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Pale malty, a bit of caramel, citrus and pine with tropical fruits. Citrusy aftertaste. Nice first beer. Mix of US/NZ hops is evident.

Bottled@AIH53 (from AbM). Amber colour with some haze, big fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some caramel and mild yeast to it. Flavour is quite similar, with some mild grainy and resiny notes. Quite bland. Grassy bitterness in finish.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangy, deep golden colour with huge, frothy, mostly to fully lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy, fruity aroma, notes of grapefruit and lemon, a grassy touch, caramel malty background. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally tart-ish, grassy to strawy, minimally citrusy fruity, weak caramel malty basis; light and lsightly watery, flat carbo.

A bitter and slightly savoury floral vibe. Trace of toffee before the light semi dry finish. Interesting but doesn’t really lift off.

Keg at CBC SG - London. Pours mostly clear reddish-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds toasted grains and pine, earth, damp wood. Light sweet flavor with a dominant bitter, woodsy character to it, some leaves, orange peel, earth, burnt grains, leathery berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Strong earthy, dirty bitterness to finish, more toasted grain, some husk, wood, old and musty berries. The beer is a little bit unfocused and the bitterness is out of balance, especially in the aftertaste. Otherwise, it’s OK.

Keg at CBC St Giles, 22/10/15. Reddish amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel malt, pine, earthy hop, candied fruit peel, grapefruit. Taste comprises bitter orange, straw, pine needle, grapefruit, biscuit, caramel malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the close.
