Gravity dispense at the LBA fest at Le Gothique, 24/07/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, light pine, orange pith, toasted bread. Taste comprises tangerine, light coating of pine, orange pith, hop notes, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good dose of hop bitterness. Decent.

Taste comprises earthy hops, chalky mineral bite, tangerine, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close laced with earthy hop bitterness. Decent.

Cask - Dark roast and some roast coffee beans. Jet black with almost no head. Dark fruit, toast and some slight soured malts. Draft - As cask but better and no sourness.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear, vibrant gold with a tight, frothy white head. The aroma holds some spicy pine, pithy orange, other citrus, slight herbs, minerals. Light-medium sweet with lots of nice, dry citrus pith, some melon, hints of cobwebs, grapefruit, mild berries, further pine, light oily hops. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with further pith, some lightly toasted pale malts, grains, pine needles, tangerine, grapefruit, clean minerals. I like it. It’s quite well balanced, and the dry citrus pith character makes it quite drinkable. Nice lip-smacking hoppiness. A very good beer from a new brewery.

Cask gravity at the Wandsworth summer beer fest. Orange golden with a loose white head. Aroma is resin orange peel, grassy, mango. Flavour is semi sweet, resinous grassy hop, some cat pee, orange. Base malts. Palate is grainy, nice resinous bitterness. Good stuff.

Cask gravity at the Wandsworth summer beer fest. Golden orange colour with a loose white head. Aroma is zesty orange, juicy fruit, passiofruit. Flavour is juicy orange, citrus , slight grassy. Base malt is nice and clean. Palate is semi sweet crisp and slightly grainy straw. Solid.

Craft Holborn. Keg. Hazy gold - amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and a little soft. Semi dry with fine carbonation. Light airy malt, little sweetness. Hops are a great mix of mild pine, mild skunk and mild resin, then floral citrus and tropical fruits. Lime readily identifiable. Comes together very well in to a light semi dry finish. Very nice indeed. There is a maturity about this beer I would not have expected from a new brewery albeit with the input of a very experienced brewer. Impressive.

On tap Craft Covent Garden. Hazy amber lasting white head. Ok apa a little bit of tropical fruit. quite refreshing. Quite tasty. Nice.
