Finally a chance to taste this autumn brewed beer. I dislike winter and autumn makes me think about it so don’t think I’m giving this anything over a 4, heheh. Nunkin? Does this mean there is none pumpkin in this? Well if tha’s what yer insuating, that there is no punky in this, it puts you into some of the ruder anti pumpkin group. Lighter brown cloudy thang. Slight co2. Slight cinny smell. Although I don’t care for spiced beers this is not bad overall. Not over the top in the spices. Yaeh, sheenah.

Hazy amber color. Lovely nose with lots of toffee, milk chocolate, burnt raisins and cherries. Sweet maltiness and a touch of sour. The mouth is very smooth, lots of milk chocolate, toffee, tootie rolls. Very warming in the finish. A really nice sipping and winter warmer.

Sampled from a growler this beer poured a hazy brown-orange color with a small foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was chai and cinnamon. The flavor was chai, cinnamon, dryish and a touch astringent. Very long finish. Medium body. Not my style.

22oz bottle pours a watery, but nearly opaque black with some thicker, eggshell head. Nose has big bright coffee grounds, nutty, malt, toast, cracker,a little dark chocolate, but mostly just quality coffee. Flavor is so balanced, roasty, coffee grounds, toasted bread crust, malt, some mild molasses, hints of smoke. The coffee is really the star. Dry finish. Really good.
