This is probably the most impressive beer I have had from this company, and it is even in a style I do not care much for. Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer pours a dark brown color with a small brown head. The aroma is strong bakers chocolate. The flavor is strong bitter coffee and a hint of chocolate. Very bitter.

Sampled on draft at the State College beer festival this beer poured a very pale yellow color that was cloudy and topped by a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sweet and lemony. The flavor was vaguely wheaty with a bitter lemon element and a sour tangy finish.

Sampled on draft at Smokin? Joes in Pittsburgh this beer poured a orange-copper color with a small yellow-white head the left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet yeastiness, grapefruity hops and a touch of pine. The flavor was bitter with nutty malt with a solid grapefruit and pine hop presence followed by sour toasted caramel. Long finish. Medium body and fairly smooth. Nicely quaffable.
