In 1981, Peter Mauldon, the great grandson of Anna Maria decided to re-establish the family tradition and start a brewery in Sudbury once again. Peter had been too young to be involved in the original family business and had previously pursued a career with Messrs. Watney where he progressed to Head Brewer at the company’s large Mortlake Brewery.

Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Practically black with a creamy light brown head. Smooth roasted in both aroma and taste with a smooth easy drinking texture too

From cask at the Maldon Beer & Cider Festival with Terje 25.04.22. Almost clear pale golden. Fine aroma and taste sweet pale malt, yellow apples, succade, citrus and grass.

Cask, house beer at The Rampant Horse in Needham Market. Clear golden yellow color, white head with lacey lacing. Aroma of lemon and white pepper. Taste is lightly bitter lemon. OK

Cask at Rampant Horse in Needham Market. Clear deep golden color, small white edge head. Aroms of caramel bisuit. Taste is lightly toasted caramel biscuit with a bit of black peppery bitterness. OK
