Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, moderate to heavy yeasty, spicy, yeast, belgium yeast, dark fruit. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark fruit, yeasty, roasted, belgium yeast, candy, burnt sugar bitter. Bottle (2005) at RBESG ’14, day 4 not so grand tasting at Craft Clerko, 10/08/14. Hazed golden orange with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose is light plastic, bitter fruit, citric leanings, spice, yeast esters, hint of apricot. Taste comprises no plastic notes, tangy apricot, citric peel, yeasty notes, light bread vibes, Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, semi drying clsoe. Average - a little too much soap on the nose.
