Bottle (light gusher) shared with Jan & Charlotte when visiting Ulfborg on our holiday. Great to meet up! Amber color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, caramel, oddly something strawberry jam-ish in there and whisky. Flavor is malts, caramel, whisky, something sweet in there as well (Laura said it reminds her of sweet red wine) which is a nice touch and balances the beer. Quite complex in the end. A bit fizzy carbonation, or lively I should say. Pretty good I'd say.

Bottle from Delhaize.
A: hazy brown, small, foamy, off-white head.
A: raisin, fig, clove, liquorice, rubber, tobacco.
T: sweet raisin, fig & pear; toffee, spicy liquorice, bit meaty.
F: herbal hops, phenolic clove, meat, rubber, boozy peated whisky alcohol.
P: medium body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation.
The BA treatment is quite 'raw' here, resulting in a 'meaty' profile. Otherwise okay.

T: sweetish mandarin & plum, bitter clove, citrus peel.
F: soft floral hops, bitter grape skin & citrus peel, bit woody.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Decent, but the barrel doesn't add much to the base beer .

Bottle at home. Unclear hazy blond color, medium sized white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malts, softly fruity notes, distant tart-hoppy hints, a mix between light sweet notes and light bitters. Hmm not bad for a blonde beer.

Bottle at home. Gusher!! Unclear orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, quite some liquor notes. Flavor is malts, again quite heavy liquor, lightly yeasty, lightly herbal, tart-bitter. Hmm not my kind of flavor I guess.
