Keg at the brewery. As ’Nitro Stout’. Aroma is earthy berry, slight ashy roast and wood. Opaque black pour with a steadfast cream head. Flavour is slightly tart raspberry, choc roast, cranberry. Light acid on the tongue. Decent. Palate is medium bodied. Very smooth.

Keg at the brewery. Dark orange / amber coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel biscuit, candied hop, berry and touch of orange. Flavour is caramel, bitter orange peel, rough assertive grassy bitterness. Some lingering hot alcohols in the finish. Palate is highly carbonated, and medium bodied. Maybe some signs of a ferment problems.

Bottle from the brewpub shared at the campsite in Deal Kent. Hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting. Aroma is hedgerow berry hop with some grass and mineral. Flavour is earthy straw, berry hop, orange peel and some grassy hop. Assertive hop bitterness. Lively palate , dry and grainy on the tongue. Decent drop.

Cask at the brewery. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nice floral lavander, slightly soapy, pollen and orange. Flavour is clean base malt, aggressive hop bitterness that lingers in the back of the throat. Some nice floral hop notes but the IBU levels mean that it isn’t that sessionable. Decent cask condition, low carbonation, slightly grainy in the finish.

Cask at the brewery. Clear orange / light amber coloured pour with thin halo of white head. Aroma is orange leaves, tangerine, biscuit malt. Flavour is stale malts, oxidisation, tangerine, carbonic acid, grassy tangerine in the finish. Palate is chalky thin and carbonic acid bite. Hop bitterness is firm and slightly rough. OK.

Cask at the brewery. Aroma is sweet brown sugar, toffee apple, light wood. Dark ruby red clear pour with a lasting loose cream head. A bit of winter spices in the nose as well. Flavour is thick unrefined sugars, prune, toffee apple and solvent. Palate is medium bodied, slightly slick on the tongue and low carbonation. Less flaws then others. Some nice spicy nutmeg, wood and unrefined sugars.

Cask at the brewery. Clear red amber colour with a lasting thin greyish loose head. Aroma is hedgerow berry, spicy cereal grains and slight solvent. Flavour is spicy hop, big solvent and hot alcohol and biting rough bitterness. Really rough round the edges. Some phenolics in the finish. Medium body and lowish cask carbonation. Not much to like about it.

Cask. Pours very very dark brown, with a small frothy beige head. Nutty aromas, with some hops and dark fruit hints. Very bitter in the mouth, hoppy, more nuts, raisin, hop resins, a long bitter finish. Quite good.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, chlorine, sour, vinegar. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sharp, vinegar. Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Hazy pale gold beer, smal bubbly white head. Palate is dry and a little crisp. Fine carbonation. Light airy malt. Mildly bitter floralness. Grapefruit pith. Dry finish. Bitter linger. Not bad.
