Description
Burton Bridge Brewery is a traditional style brewery that produces a wide range of beers.

We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up

For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.

Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.

The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

[Cask] A hazy amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty, while the flavor is sweet with primary notes of caramel leading to a dry hoppy end.

Pours is a cloudy orange with a nice sized white head. Aroma is a faint hops smell. Flavor is a very sweet hop and light malts. Hops are light as well as any citrus flavor. It says heavily hopped on the bottle but i don’t get it. Not realy bad but not a cask IPA that I had in mind.

Amber coloured body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel and malt. Medium to Heavy-bodied; Super strong malt flavour with caramel showing through. Aftertaste contains a very strong finish that lasts long in the palate. I sampled this beer from Jeremy at Smokeless Joe’s after our May RB Party on 15-May-2004 in Toronto, Ontario.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An orange beer with absolutely no head. The aroma is of oranges and hops. The flavor is strong of oranges and with very distinct notes of alcohol, that gives the warmth on an already hot day.

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] A dark amber beer with a fine lasting beige head. The aroma is faint of oranges. The flavor is very powerful, but rather simple for an Abbey Dubbel; it is very spicy of which some are hops and coriander, which gives it a dry end. The flavor also contains notes of citrus.

Thanks to Shag for bringing this to the Georgia 14% gathering! Hazy pour of yellow-orange beer with an average sized white head. Bubblegum and honey in the aroma. Sweet malty flavor is sorely needing a dose of hops to bring it back into balance. There is some bitterness, but not to the degree expected of an IPA Typical of many British IPA’s produced today I’m afraid.

Dark color. Very good stout, good mix of dry coffee and malt sweetness; good texture, smooth. Long final. I can’t detect the fruits, but very good anyway! Excellent stout.

Cloudy brown pour with immense, frothy head - dough, yeasty aroma - very dry, tart, with hints of banana and clove - bitter in the finish, and not much else - very out of balance.

Cloudy dark amber color; creamy head, dark and light shades, like a cappuccino. Well malty, sweet, warming. Not very complex, but enjoyable.
