Clear light yellow color, short white head. Aroma is quite sweet, some hops and grain. Tastes like a normal lager, bit more sweet and bit more watery. It lacks body, but it’s easily drinkable.

Sickly sweet flavor is all I can remember about this. Please accept this rating as I can bear the thought of drinking this again.

Can. Sour corn malt aroma. Light golden yellow with large but quickly dissipating head. Light sour grainy malt flavor. Smell is unappealing but if you’re going to drink crap, you might as well save money. If you get it really cold, it’s not dramatically different from its sister, Miller Lite.

40 oz. Corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Slightly sweet grainy malt flavor. One of the better Miller products for what it’s worth. Smells a bit skunky - tastes pretty good for an American malt liquor but really more like a pale lager.

Can. Sour malt aroma. Pale yellow with big head. Full sour malt flavor. We did a blind taste test of 15 different pale lagers and believe it or not, the Beast scored higher than all other macros and much higher than any other Miller products. If you’re going to drink BMC products, you might as well save money.

One has truly sunk to the depths of wretched liver killing when one decides to grab a malt liquor just so you can get a rating. But, rating slut that I am I chose to go down this path. In truth I have long been curious about this beer. My father had an Olde English banner in his bar when I was a child - though I am pretty sure he never had drank the substance. So growing up in the shadow of the breweriana I was always imparted with a certain curiosity. On this particular evening I ventured out and purchased the 22 oz clear bottle. The clear bottle was of course a warning for any true beer lover that the brewery did not respect the beer. I went for the 22 oz size for simple fear of not being willing to force 40 oz of the substance into my system. I am certain that I have paid a higher price for Coke than this beer cost me. The color was golden amber as could well be seen through the bottle. The pour revealed a small fizzy bleach white head that disappeared quickly. There was only the faintest hint of an aroma but some corn was certainly noticeable. The flavor was slightly sour and sweet but overall dominated by corn. The brew was heavily carbonated and served quite cold so as to spare the taste buds but the corn still came through. Sadly I made the mistake of not guzzling the entire contents immediately, and thus the beer got warm. I have often wondered what corn syrup tasted like. Now I know. Should the English find out that we have taken their country’s name and dragged it through the mud in naming this swill no doubt they will come and burn down Washington again.

Canned (how appropriate): Most bad beers I try to think of something interesting or witty to make the experience worthwhile. However this beer is so worthless it is not worth the effort. Straw color with tiny bubbles and a thin white head. No lacing. Musty weak hops aroma. Thin-bodied and anemic with barely any flavor, and what is there is not pleasant. You shouldn’t even be able to make something this low quality with malt, hops and water. The fact that there is an aftertaste is distressing because it is not an appealing experience. Never again.

I should make it clear that I did not purchase this beer, so I am relieved of all guilt associated with drinking it. I am witness to its watery, unbalanced, tangy/acidic body. I am witness to the corn flavors. I am witness to the almost complete absence of hops. I am witness, shall I be punished?

Bottle. Skunked? Gosh, it’s not supposed to be, with its isomerized hops and all. Tried it from the bottle, tried it in a glass, both gave me a big mouthfeel of some plastic dissolved in it. THIS IS NOT BEER! It’s the Champale of beers.

Eigentlich passabel. Auf jeden Fall, solange man die Flasche ungeöffnet lässt und sich das Bier nur anschaut, dort bekommt es die einzigen Pluspunkte. Es sieht gut aus, auch wenn die durchsichtige Flasche an Alkopops erinnert. Der Geruch ähnelt dem Geschmack: Kaum Aroma, etwas süßlich. Nachgeschmack Fehlanzeige.
