(2006 vintage at Kuikka, Helsinki, on 2009-09-05) Red wine colour and clear. Hardly any head. Raisin, sweetness and malts in aroma. Full bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Malts, rasin, sweetness, lightly roastedness, dried plum, chcolate and bitterness in taste. Sweet and malty aftertaste. Really enjoyable. Thanks FatPhil for hint of this beer’s availability.

Clody deep reddish amber with tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, caramel and floral hops. Flavour came out sweet with toasted malt, fruits, caramel and floral hops that gave it a bitter finish.

Clear red with a medium off white head. Aroma was fruity with caramel and floral notes. Flavour was fairly dry with caramel, berries, floral hops and toasted malt. Finished bitter.

Nearly black with a tiny deep beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and hints of chocolate. Sweet flavour with hard roasted malt, coffe and chocolate notes. Finished sweet.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of berries and malt, as well as lighter notes of bread and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee, berries, spices, and malt, lovely malt blend. The finish is bitter.

From cask at Charlies. Pours dark golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild fruity and light malty. Sweet, citric and bitter fruity flavoured too. Citrusy lingering fruity flavoured into a crisp hoppy flavoured finish. Nice and easy.

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden dark orange to amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild malty with a light metallic note. Roasted malty flavoured with a light breadish roasted malt base flavour. Mild fruity and dark caramelish note. Dry roasted lingering malt flavoured finish with a light bitterness coming through.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A deep red beer with a light tan head. The aroma has very fruity, combined with some re berries , and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee and bread hitting early, then comes notes of berries and some fruit, on a malty back ground, leading to a quite bitter finish. The mouthfeel is smooth.
