Cask. This bears best feature is the appearence. Excellent head, fully lasting, nice brown colour. The aroma and taste is average, its a bit fizzy for a stout.

(Bottle 50 cl) Black with a reddish tint. Dry yet rather soft and surprisingly low bitterness. Quite flat in spite of the nitrogen-widget. My version is only 4% ABV. 160101

Alcohol and malt aromas. Light red with a very small head. Flavor is malt and alcohol, like a cheap malt liquor.

Amber color; big head. A very common beer, a lot of caramel, dry and very bitter. The only peculiarity is a quite strong roasted malt line in the taste.

Bottled. Dark brown, huge foamy brown head. Roasted malt and old coffee in aroma. Roasted malt with hints of old coffee and chocolate in flavour. Also some fruitish notes can be found. Mainly roast in aftertaste.

Nitro can from Mercator. Far better than the Beamish nitrocan. Don’t know about the Guinness nc, but It might be. Small, but very firm and persistant tan head. Pitch black. Ok, very dark brown, but you don’t see it until the end. Smells like liquorice and coffee. Taste.... roasty, coffee, molasses, some chocolate, a bit sweet and fruity, plums maybe. Roasty aftertaste. A bit light (not suprising, as it’s a nitrocan and 4.0 alc.vol), but tasty enough. Drank the both Murphys beers, both claimed to be from Cork, Ireland.....but both also claimed to be brewed elsewhere. The Amber was brewed in Holland, and the Stout in Wales. Fun, eh ?

Copper brown, small creamy brownish head. Nose is grassy hoppy with hints of rubber and ash. Malty, rubbery, slightly smokey flavor. Plastic aftertaste with hint of hops. Dissapointment.

Im Mittelteil ist das Bier sehr mild mit einem leichten Fruchtgeschmack. Im Nachgeschmack gesellt sich ein lecker malziger Geschmack dazu, der genau richtig dosiert ist. Und süffig ist das Zeug! Test vom 16.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,12,15,13,12,13 - 13,00

Pour is red with a big white head. Aroma is slightly malty. Flavor is malty but also very sweet. Its ok neither good or bad. Losses points for the $7.99 a six asking price.
