Draft. It looks and smells like your typical irish nitro-stout. While it's still a mellow tasting stout, it had a bit more of a roasty flavor and a little more sour tang to it than Guniness.

Draught (sampled: Heathrow airport 28.2.04)
Black, steady cream head. Roasted aroma. Smooth but watery palate comparing eg. to Guinness. Bitter long lasting finish. (7/5/7/3/14 3.6)
Re-rate: Can
Opaque black with perfect chocolate/expresso head. Roasted dark chocolate aroma. Smooth, bitter with milk chocolate notes and roasted malts, but body is on lighter side. (7/5/7/3/15 3.7)

Canned
Dark brown, almost black colour. Steady creamy chocolate head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee, softer than in Guinness. Very smooth taste, dark chocolate, smoked malt, gives mild bitter aftertaste. Junior version of Guinness stout. (7/5/8/5/17 4.2)

Brown in color, small, but fluffy head. Not much of a smell... if you dig deep you may find a tiny bit of grass, as well as a hint of smokiness. Smell it? Tastes exactly the same. Good mouthfeel, and average drinkability... nothing special, but drinkable.

Appearance: Black, with nice frothy head that last and lasts. Smell: Sweet, a bit roasted... yummy!! Taste: Nice and creamy. A bit dry and bitter, but definitely a nice, nice taste. This beer's very drinkable for about one. After one, it might get to be a bit filling... but give this one a try.

Pourred a beautiful creamy black brew with a nice foamy head that will stay for a while. Roasted nose with a little water aftertaste. Very similar to Guinness. I had better stout but this one is not that bad.

Rerate, tap: Neutral aroma. Chestnut, big creamy nitro head. Dusty roast notes, a bit wood. Fairly lightbodied - served too cold of course. Light roasted aftertaste ######## Old rating: 6 5 7 4 13 Sampled from can. Widget works very well, very dark and with a nice creamy head. Subdued flavors, but burned toast, coffee and a bit bitterhop can be detected. Creamy mouthfeel but fast exit.
