Bottle shared at Borefts beer fest day 2 27/09/2014. Bodegraven. Many thanks to whomever shared this. Murky caramel brown coloured pour with no head to speak of. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, choc powder. Flavour is composed of choc, rough roast, nutty, rough round the edges. Some hot alcohol in the finish. Some berry esters and praline. Headache inducing. Palate is semi-sweet, highish carbonation.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours copper, nose is toffee, pine, citrus, taste is bitter malty toffee.

Sample from 60 cl. bottle. As Colorado Ithaca. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Roasted aroma with dark malts, fruits, liqourice, soy sauce, chocolate and coffee. Taste is bitter-roasted. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with rich caramel, chocolate and coffee. Lovely Stout.

Bottle - black pour with beige head. Aroma and taste comprises lightly roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, roasted finish, lovely.

Bottle 60 cl. Comes as: "Colorado Ithaca". Pours am opaque black with a beige head. Lovely, swet vanillaish roast in the nose. Rich body, sweet suble dark malts, not overly roasty - more vanillaish. Warming alcohol finish but never boozy. Very pleasant. 170115

tap - Pours near black and smells of roasted malt and chocolate. It tastes very sweet with the chocolate malt character very prominent. I don’t think it’s hopped heavily enough to begin to keep up with the big malt load, so it’s sweeter than I’d like. It’s still pretty good, just a little underwhelming for my favorite style.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy citrus finish.

Bottle, pours a cloudy dark orange amber with a small beige head. Nose is heavily malted, with loads of caramel malt along with resinous hops and a little pine. Flavour is thankfully not over-malted, with lots of woody resinous hops upfront, the slightest herbal quality, and a solid caramel malt backbone. Surprisingly cohesive and well-balanced -- wasn't expecting much from a Brazilian IIPA, but this is very nice. Well-done.

Bottle 600ml. @ 6th Borefts Beer Festival 2014, Brouwerij de Molen. [ As Colorado Ithaca ].[ Courtesy of whoever ;D ]. Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, candy, dark sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, candy, brown sugar, roasted, sugary sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO. simple and way to sweet - sugary and ruff bitter malt. [20140927] 7-3-7-3-14 Bottle 600ml. @ 6th Borefts Beer Festival 2014, Brouwerij de Molen. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown sugar, candy, dark sweet malt, dusty malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, candy, brown sugar, roasted, sugary sweet, sweet coffee - roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140927] 7-2-7-3-14
