24th September 2022 Borefts XII Day 2. Hazy raspberry colour beer, small pink tinted white head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Nice tart and sweet berry fruits. Ripe raspberry and a little dark berries. Nice light vanilla. Quite a drinkable ice cream sour. Dry crisp finish. Amusing!

A little cloudy blond yellow to gold beer, creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: funky, lots of brett, weird, soapy smell, very floral, sourish impression. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very soapy, rather unpleasant bitterness, a bit fruity, chemical. Aftertaste: soapy bitterness, meh, don’t like it very much.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: smoky, good heavy roast, alcohol, caramel notes, spicy, coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, smoky, peated, good roast, alcohol, smoky, more roast, lots of dark chocolate, caramel. Aftertaste: very peated, bitter, roasted, lots of alcohol, dry, spicy, alcohol, coffee, more bitter roast.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, adhesive. Aroma: good roast, wood notes, oxidized, whisky barrel, chocolate, cocoa powder, some coconut. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of alcohol, good roast, bitter, dry, vanilla, very intense, coconut, chocolate, more alcohol, good stuff. Aftertaste: very bitter, dry, hoppy touch, bourbon.

Pretty cloudy deep ruby red beer, big creamy light pink head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of raspberry, a bit sweet, jammy impression, cherries, berries, hint of vanilla, nice. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, alcohol, lemon, lots of raspberries, vanilla notes, pleasant acidity, nice beer!

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: good roast, malty backbone, some coffee, vanilla, caramel, chocolate notes. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of alcohol, bitter roast, chocolate notes, coffee, cocoa powder, bitter hops as well, dry. Aftertaste: quite a bit of alcohol burn in the throat, sweet, chocolate, dry spicy, some gingerbread notes, alcoholic finish. Not bad!
