Tall Boy Can. Lager glass shows typical clear piss color. Decent enough head, light lace down the glass. Weak nose of hay. Fairly dry taste with some light pale malt and corn notes. Body is thin and watery. A strange mild hop does liger in the finish. Overall in the world of lagers it is below average. Not the worse I’ve had but…. The only good thing here for me is, I got to tick Romania as a country.

Bottles in Brasov and Bucuresti. Clear pale golden with a white head. Industrial pale lager, but not the worst. When I visited Romania i 2003 I found this to be better than the standard Norwegian pale lagers. Not a great beer, but goes down pretty easy on hot summer days in Romania.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and cereal. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, metal, and bread, leading to a dry metallic finish. Huge thanks to yespr for bringing this home for me.

clear brown, smooth light brown head. mild malty aroma, dry. flavor is pretty messy mix of bitter malts, bitter caramel, plastic and a slightly tart sour note. also tried a bottle and that one was a lot clearer in the flavor. no plastic, no tart sour note, but perhaps a roastiness that could be interpreted as almost sourish/tartish. flavor 4->6, overall 8->13

Can 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear orangey brown with a dense and creamy beige head. Odd farty aroma initially, then some sweet roast. Medium body, subtle roast, and some licorice, roasty finish. Quite decent. 230512
