19/08 0.5 l can Marko bought at some gas station (thanks!) after we’ve been late to all markets, due to that hour of timezone difference! It had grainy aroma, pretty repulsive, though it tasted better. Weaker malty, slightly bready and grainy flavor. Thinner body with shorter herbal and grainy finish. Drinkable, not too unpleasant malty, still not a decent substitute for regular beer.

19/08 0.5 l bottle at Timisoreana brewery restaurant. It poured dark brown to black body with medium to big head. Coffee, some roasted caramel, slightly herbal hoppy in aroma. Flavor is coffee driven, orange, grass, fine caramel notes. Some good quality malt used here surprisingly, and it’s not thin at all, though it had shorter, fruity sweet finish. Interesting and much better than expected on the place. And it’s a schwarzbier, not dunkel.

19/08 0.5 l bottle at Timisoreana brewery restaurant. It poured pale golden body with small head. Lemon and sunflower seed oil made its aroma. Too sweet flavor, soda, slightly acidic, notes of grainy malt that make it even uglier. Long sweet crappy lemony finish. Completely artificial in a whole. Try to avoid this in Romania.

19/08 Draught at Timisoreana brewery restaurant. It poured hazy yellow body with small head. Chalk, herbal and grainy aroma, acidic. Flavor is yeasty, typical for an unfiltered beer, while hay and grainy notes that are best felt in ordinary version, along with lemony notes are evident as well. Medium bodied, but had some short watery, chalky and lemony finish. Slightly sour. Not bad, they should pack it like this anyway.

19/08 Draught at Timisoreana brewery restaurant. It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Lemony and sweet flowery aroma. Similar flavor, sweetish honey and lemony, very thin in body with yet longer sourish lemony and honey finish. I’m not convinced this is strong beer at all, no alcohol punch which is obvious in such beers.

Bottle at the Timisoreana brewery restaurant. Poured a clear, extremely dark red, almost black. Off white head. Sweetish nose, raisins and plums. Slightly cardboardy taste driven by dark malts and raisins. Slightly too fruity for its own good. Baltic Porter? Good one. Ok, but I expected more...

0.5l, draft at the Timisoreana brewery restaurant... the waitress accidentally brought heavy and his gf two of these instead of this and Ursus Black. Poured a full, slightly dark golden body with a medium sized white head. Sourish, vinuous crappy malty nose. Light malty taste, dry, sweetish, harmless, only very light alcohol. Dull.
