Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet pine, grapefruit and a bit of catbox. The flavor was somewhat harsh and bitter pine, catbox and lemon. Medium length finish of pine and lemon. Medium body. Solid.

a 5% stout? In a can? Hmmm.. Served fairly cold in a pint glass. No head was produced. Poured midnight black. I can smell vanilla from a few feet away. licorice and tobacco on the nose. Taste is very pleasant. Sweet, vanilla, toffee, oak and licorice. Medium body despite the midnight oily color. Decent beer.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is plenty hoppy with maybe some mint in there? Flavor is also pretty decent. Lots of hop kick with some dry malts bringing things up. A decent low alcohol but high flavor pale ale.

Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Hazy medium red-brown body, medium clumping cream head. Peachy, fermented fruit nose with floral notes and lots of sugar. Sweet, potent body, bitter with brown sugar and warming alcohol, almost cloying.

Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Hazy, dirty medium orange body, thick puffy cream head. Piny nose; also citrus rind. Sweet, citrusy body, with strong tangerine/orange notes (including pulp and rind), almost candied. Fair bitterness, just enough to balance the citrus sweetness. Solid body, well-balanced and crisp. Good IPA.

Draft at Taps 25, Lansing. Clearish, slightly hazy straw-orange body, thick puffy off-white head. Light grassy, floral nose with fruit pit. Soft body, floral and grassy with some spicy notes in addition to tropical fruit (papaya) and peach, including peach pit. Bitter finish with fruit juice. Toasty. Gets a bit muddled, but an intriguing hops profile.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a finger of thick yet frothy white head. Aroma is mostly citrus with loads of grapefruit and tropical fruits. Slight caramel aroma. Medium bitter and lightly sweet. Loads of tropical fruits like pineapple with a good bit of grapefruit and citrus. A good dose of caramel too. Light bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Very soft carbonation but a decently long finish. Overall, pretty darn good. I would be happy to drink this again!
