Tap @ OTH. Pours blonde with white head. Aroma, very sweet and hoppy. Taste sweet, fruity (vanilla, pineapple) and malty with some floral hops. Great beer, refreshing, need more lagers like this one.

As stated in earlier reviews, this bottle does not say ’Balto’ on it. A little off on the olfactory when popped. Color is toward brown yellow clearness. Fairly smooth flavor which has some hay in there. Short interesting near bitterness. Weird sweetness in its own way. Clean palate, finish is lager acceptable.

12 oz bottle. Pours light amber with a small white head. Aroma is strong grapefruit hops with a slight sweet caramel scent. Flavor is grapefruit and floral hops mainly, again with hints of sweet caramel. Flavor could stand to be a little stronger. A pretty good IPA.

Bottled. A deep amber beer with a fast disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet malty wtih notes of caramel and pumpernickle bread as well as light notes of cinnamon. The flavor is sweet mlaty with notes of pumpernickle bread and caramel as well as a light touch of alcohol. The body is powerful. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Served on cask at RFD in Washington DC. Pours a slightly watery, translucent muddy brown with zero head. Bananas, yeast, breads, spices and brown sugar in the nose. Flavor is similar, brown sugar, heavy banana, brown bread and flat yeast. Slightly thick and syrupy in the mouth, no heat. I might have liked this more not on cask, the carbonation might have helped with texture. As it was, I was unimpressed.
