Draught. Clear shiny amber colour. Small head. Malty flavour, slightly caramelly. The bitterness is slightly rough, but mild enough to be a good match for the caramel note.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw - lacks some malt, hence it is boring. The body is thin.

50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a one finger thick and chalk white head. Aroma is vague butterish and with a mild cornish note. Mild sweet malt flavoured, light butterish and caramel note too. Vague cornish note into a mild bitter finish.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a good carbonation and a dense finger-thick white head. Grains and fruity hops in the aroma, rather boring and uninteresting, but at least not foul. Sweet body with a nice bitterness both initially and in the finish. Some fruityness and grass too. Medium body, quite effervescent. A rather uninspiring beer, but easy to drink and quenching. A bit sweet maybe, and there’s also a little papery note, but that’s very weak. (081213)

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr/KimJohansen. Clear yellow with a rough, white head. Good malty aroma, some grassy accents as well. Medium body, malt and a little cardboard and again grassy accents. The finish is dry without any greater bitterness, but surprisingly a little sweet. 141208

On tap. Completely opaque black with a tall, dense and velvety beige head leaving a lovely curtain of lacework. Aroma of hard roasted malt and coffee. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base, plenty of hard roasted malt, burned caramel and sweet licorice. Surprisingly subdued bitterness. A meal in a glass really. 280608
