Draught at Na Parkanu, Plzen.
Pale amber coloured, small off white head, light caramel nose. A way too sweet malty, caramelly and light fruity taste with touch of alcohol in the finish. Easy going but one dimensional beer.

Draught at Na Parkanu, Plzen.
Hazy pale golden coloured, medium sized long-lasting white head, light hoppy nose. Sweet malty, nice hoppy and grassy taste with pleasant fruity and yeasty notes. Moderate bitter finish. Very nice bohemian pils.

Hazy golden beer ith a lasting white head leaving a fine lace.
At the brewery tour: Top marks for ambience in this magical cellar with the wooden lagering barrels. Malty aroma with a touch of sulphur - but the musty cellar isn’t perfect for beer sniffing. Full bodied malty flavour quickly to be followed by a rich hop flavour and bitterness. A hint of tannin in the aftertaste, unless that’s just my imagination. 6-4-8-4-15=3.7
At Na Parkanu: Malty aroma with even less sulphur. Some grassy hops too. Lots of malt sweetness and biscuit flavour plays backbone to a fine hop flavour and strong bitterness. I far preferred this version, or maybe just that the setting was better for serious tasting.
