Bottle picked up from Bernhard Nieder Getränkte, Attenkirchen Sunday 26th January 2020 listening to Sebadoh - Act Surprised and defrosting a homemade Chicken Jalfrezi and Chapattis and thinking of a Dal to cook to go with it. Pours mid gold, almost completely clear but a slight chill haze perhaps, a swiftly departing white head sat atop. Hops are evident, a little biscuit malt in the background, a touch of cereal on the nose, fruity and with a light bitterness. Very good. A very good Helles.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, pale malts, definitely Hallertau hops in there. Taste is citric, grassy, dry and crackery malt body, peppery cracker finish. Dry mouthfeel with a tiny mineraly bite and a crisp carbonation. Very much like a great Pilsner, this is good! Pouring the second half of the bottle, the yeast gives a bit more softness to it. Wow, another great Lager by Urban Chestnut Wolnzach!

330ml bottle [#1040/2000]. Cloudy, reddish-brown colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly nutty, caramel malty and minimally woody aroma, a tannic touch of oak. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, dry woody, notes of oak, hints of Bourbon, vanilla, a touch of dried fruit, raisin; well hidden alcohol. Rather light body, watery, minimally oily texture, fine, prickly carbonation. Explicit BA notes, but overall not overly impressive if not even relatively anaemic. Meh.

Bottle. Hazy pale golden, white head. Lovely crisp grassy and light tropical hop nose. Medium to light body, sparkly, dry crisp - feels pilsnerish. Light cake malt, melon, grass and citrus hop finish. Lovely, needs a light edge in the aftertaste to become truly moreish.

Picked this up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, München. Had this Sunday 8th December 2019 whilst listening to The Twilight Sad - It Won't be Like This all the Time and making Lasagne (a proper one). Pours gold with a bit of a haze and a mid sized frothy white head. This is much better after the previous beer which was rather disappointing. Good maltiness in first mouthfeel, nice gentle soft carbonation, a little honey, some caramel. Fine, not amazing by any stretch but absolutely fine.

Bottle picked up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß and consumed at Frank, (Camper) Bannewaldsee nr Schwangau, Friday 22nd November 2019 after another long walk, this time via the famous 🏰's and the brewpub (again!). Pours dark amber with a slight haze and a white head. Malty and with a little light toffeeness, very, very easy drinking beer for the abv. Really nice.

On tap at the brewery/restaurant, Wolnzach, Sunday 20th October 2019 following a 14.5 mile cycle ride from Attenkirchen. Pours gold with just the lightest of hazes, fruity, it has a subtle citrus touch however notable for a great dry finish. Very good.
