Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy, pale malts, sugar icing. Taste is pale malts, grassy, slightly buttery, oniony. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Nicely balanced.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish/amber beer with a small beige head. Aroma of reddish malt, red fruits, pine. Taste of red fruits, pine, berries, brett, caramel. A bit too old, sadly!

Flascherl (many thanks to Joss!):Deep ruby-amber coloured, lots of floaties visible, small and stable off-white head;; solid sweet nose of caramel, wood with vanilla, port-wine and dried fruits, some hoppy spots hardly detectable; solid sweet flavour, full bodied, a bit sticky, but nevertheless smooth; mild traces of brandy in the sweet caramelly finish. Bottle [from trade] @ Anti-Carnavalstasting 2018 shared with Dutchdrebus. A bit hazy reddish color, medium sized off-white to beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, liquor, brown candy sugar. Flavor is malts, liquor, caramel, brown sugar, sweet. Medium body, medium carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle @ anti-carnavalstasting 2018. Brown colour with no head. Smells very sweet, barley wine, old. Tastes very sweet, barley wine, slightly chocolate, rum. Full body, soft carbo.
