Description

Bottle at Cambrinus, Bruges. Crystal clear amber with thin white head. Bit sticky and sweet. Very clean but no fish (as Jacob would say). Toffeeish, but not good.

Hazy orange color, medium creamy off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruity, bit malty and sweet of candy sugar and sugar cane. Sweet taste, bit malty and fruity of red fruit. I was expecting something worse, but it turned out quite alright actually.

Bottled. Clear, brown, with an off-white head. The aroma has tobacco, dried fruits, yeast, candisugar, caramel and spices. Sweet, malty flavor with dried fruits and alcohol. Medium body and a finish with alcohol, bitterness and dried fruits. The aroma promises a lot, but the flavor, body and finish don’t live up to it. (060812)

Bottle. Nice blond body with lasting white foamy/creamy head. Fresh and well balanced hoppy aroma with honeyish, flowery, and yeasty notes. Taste hides the alcohol very well. It carries sweet and honeyish hints. Ends with a smooth bittersweet finish. Good Tripel. Very good together with chees
