Golden color with a smallish head and a subtle malty aroma. Taste isn’t anything to write home about either. Drinkable, yes but nothing special either.

Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, unclear, creamy and lacy white foamy layer, sweetish-grainy nose, traces of peppery hops underneath; quite soft, moderate bitter-swwtish flavour; grainy finish, followed by a slight bitterness. Pleasant, archetypal Helles…

(bottle) Cloudy, murky golden colour with a big but not persistent slightly off-white frothy head. Sweet wheaty and banana-fruity aroma with a grainy touch and clovy phenols in the background. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Slim wheaty base with present notes of banana; mildly sweet wheat-malty finish with delicate notes of cloves. Slim but nice enough. 03.I.12

Bottle: Hazy, lively carbonation, mid-sized stable fluffy white head, lively carbonation, sweetish-clovey nose, a short hoppy illusion shows up; light sourish-sweet flavour, light bodied without being soft; fruity and wheaty finish, some acidity, some bitterness detectable. Drinkable, indeed......

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, stable and creamy white layer, sweet grainy nose with a slight caramelly touch, shy herbal hops underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied; sweet grainy finish with a slightly increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. Brave brew, absolutely not exciting…

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to light-amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet (cara-)malty aroma with bready and nutty notes and a tinge of herbal hops and barnyard. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly cara-malty and bready base with present herbal accents; medium-dry sweet-bitter finish. Just a nice and easy-going Märzen, could have had a bit more body. 13.XI.11

12/11/11/11/12/11
