Hinter dem Munich Brew Mafia stehen zwei kreative Köpfe, die ihr Handwerk gelernt haben. Als Diplombraumeister und Bier-Sommerlier hat Dario Stieren das Wissen und die Leidenschaft. Da steht ihm sein Geschäftspartner Niklas Zerhoch um nichts nach. Zusammen brechen sie mit Bierkonventionen und ihre Interpretationen eines Craft Beer nehmen eine Reise um die Welt. Technisch ausgefeilt und mit viel Herz für das Brauen gehen sie immer neue Wege und setzen Akzente in der wachsenden Craft Beer Szene. Deshalb sollte man diese zwei jungen ""Mafia"" Paten aus München unbedingt im Auge behalten und sich die ein oder andere Schöpfung von ihnen kaufen. Immer nur so lange der Vorrat reicht - deshalb schnell zuschlagen und genießen.

330 ml bottle. Unclear orange with a big fluffy head. Very aromatic and complex. Resin, mango, honey melon, pine, grass. Hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, hoppy zesty resinous bitter finish. Quite a good intense hoppy bitter Session IPA.

Bottle 33 cl. BB 2033. Dark brown, hazy, coffee foam. Aroma: coffee, caramel and wine, roasted coffee, a drop of spicy Caribbean rum, esters and slightly spicy yeast with sourness. Taste: a bit sweet and sourness, coffee, yeast, caramel, a bit of dried fruits, like figs and dates, a little fortified wine, warming. Original brew.

Bottle from Ambasada. Murky orange-ochre body, thick beige head, lively carbonation. Creamy aroma, stone fruit jam, sweetish maltiness, light oxidation, herbal and spicy touches. Lean, dry taste, quite dried out, some caramel and banana, pineapple touches, some dried citrus, herbal bitter finish, vague yeasty and phenolic touches. Decent, would have been fun to try it fresh!

Drunk on tap at AmBAR in Munich. Delicious citrus-lemon flavor, lightly sweet maltiness, smooth bitterness and excellent full mouthfeel. Way better than i remember from years ago.
