Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Fruchtiger, hopfiger, eher zurückhaltend malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich fruchtig, malzig, hopfig, leicht getreidig, leicht würzig. Leichte Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter bis mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Süffig und anders als die meisten Hellen.

Bottle. Orange amber, nice offwhite cream. Orangepeel and grass, light seaweed aroma. Medium light, dry, somewhat fizzy. Cracker malt, some sugar, a bit pulpo, citric finish. A bit too carbonated and needs a bit more hops to put it over the top.

Tap at Frisches Bier. Hazy amber color with off-white head. Aroma is exotic fruits, a touch caramely, excellent hopping. Taste is peach, canned peach, a bit strawy. High carbonation, dry finish. Somehow too strawy and dry for a NEPA, and the taste does not live up to the excellent aroma - still a proper Pale Ale!

Draught at Frisches Bier, München.
Golden-amber, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, slightly yellowish head.
Aroma of butter, grains, moderate herbs, flowers, some citrus.
Tastes similar, with even more butter, but alsa a bit more herbs.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, a bit dry, citric, a bit zesty, a bit herbal, slightly piney.
Nice, while not special. The buttery notes are too dominant, while it gets better when it warms up. Fresh to drink, but I was expecting more.

Draught @ Frisches Bier, München. Sweetish, fruity and citrusy heller bock with hints of soapy hops, earthiness and maltiness. Not your typical heller bock.

500ml bottle @ Hotel room, Munich. BBE 02.08.18. Smooth, hoppy and herbal helles with some hay, grass and sweetish earthy notes. Pretty balanced and tasty, not very traditional though.

0.5l bottle from getränke oase in münchen. pours a clear pale amber with a medium head. aroma of woody hops, leaves, slight acetaldehyde. flavour of breadcrust, leaves, tea. slightly astringent finish.

50cl bottle pours a lightly hazy marigold with some clumpy, white head. Nose is classic and true to style, banana peel, some clove, light bubblegum, light candy. Flavor follows, sweet with honey, banana bread, bubblegum, coriander. The problem with hefs is that they are always overdone. Most are hugely estery, but this one was well balanced and nuanced. The style will never blow me away, but this one was well done.
