Pours hazy gold from the bottle. The head is foamy, white, a bit soapy. The aroma promises grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, pineapple juice. Taste is more tart than in a typical Weizen, with notes of lemon, clove and honeymelon set atop the more traditional bready, banana base. Finishes with a light spice. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation. A bit of a departure from a typical Weizen, but well done.

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Fruity hoppy roma with a moderately wheaty and spicy yeasty touch, including notes of citrus, grapefruits and banana, as well as bearable clovy phenols in the background. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavor with a tinge of sourness, medium to light bodied with a prickly carbonation. Present wheat character with banana-fruity esters and citric hops, accompanied by shades of cloves and vanilla; quite lingering fruity and delicately spicy finish. Well-done. 25.III.17
