0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before October 2025. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, quite smoky and slightly roasty aroma of smoked ham, hazelnut, coffee and dark chocolate. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, quite roasty, rather smoky taste of dark chocolate, coffee, smoked ham and hazelnut, followed by a short, medium long, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent, but a bit too fizzy and hoppy for my liking.

Bottle from the fan shop in Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Dark brown black colour. Lasting tan head. Big coffee aroma. Some chocolate aroma. Mostly coffee. I mean like so many of these Weyermann beers. You think it'll be too big here or there bit this is remarkably well balanced. Some hop sting on the finish. Good quality coffee throughout. I liked it.

Bottle from the fan shop in Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Clear dark brown colour. Lasting tan head. Smokey aroma. The smoke is actually quite light in the flavour morbput the same malt fruit. Decent malt flavour. A good blend of malts to give a good balanced malty beer with smoke and fruit cake fruit flavours. Some hop on the end. I thought very good.

Bottle from the fan shop in Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Cola coloured lasting beige head. Immediate chocolate aroma. Chocolate flavour too. Dark chocolate flavour. Like a 65 or 70 % cocoa chocolate flavour. Pretty simple. But the chocolate flavours are excellent. Liked it.
