Bottleshare at Lancaster Gate. Hazy amber beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and decent fine carbonation. Soft dry malts, a little creamy sweetness. Floral bitterness. Skewed aniseed. Tany fruits and dried fruits. Light spicy finish. Not very black and not very hoppy.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Fergus. Pours mostly clear, deep amber with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has minerals, pine, toasted grains. Medium sweet flavor with more grains, pine, minerals. Medium bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Resinous and mine rally on the finish, with more toasted grains, old citrus peel. So so.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 09/05/2016. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. Hazed dirty amber coloured pour with a thin off white head. Aroma is nutty, pithy citrus, hot alcohol, earthy grains. Flavour is composed of tangy apple, semi sweet, hint of musty, toasted, musty, hint of mould. Palate ks semi sweet, highish carbonation. Rough round the edges.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours cloudy deep brown with a medium white head. The aroma is Jamaican gingerbread, spicy, dried berry and jammy action. The taste is bitter, earthy, wood, spicy, dried cranberry, dried leaves, musty and grapefruit rind with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation.

Bottle at Bespin, thanks to Kenny, 09/05/16. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a decent beige head. Nose is earthy hop, caramel, mineral notes, light spice, bitter hop. Taste comprises earthy hop, big mineral bite, caramel, spice, earthy charr. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Bottle split at CCii, thanks Steve, 05/03/16. Hazed amber with a moderately appointed off white covering. Nose is Turkish Delight, big floral wafts, orange zip, light yeast. Taste comprises rose hip, herbal tones, citric peel, yeast esters, straw, more Turkish Delight - they yellowy one. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but overly floral - couldn’t drink too much of this one!
