Description
We brouwen ons bier volgens de slogan "Beer for Thought".

Sampled @ Kerstbierfestival VandeOirsprong. Dark brown to black color with a medium sized white head off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, smoked malts, some roast and malt bitter. Well done but if you hate smokyness you won't like this beer.

At Café De Zwaan, Maastricht. From their walk-in fridge. Shared with Anke.
Pours cloudy black with a frothy, beige head. The aroma contains cookie dough, cinnamon, syrup, caramel, some spices & vanilla, 'kruidnoot' and 'peperkoek' (pepper cake). It tastes light to medium dough-like/syrupy sweet and light spicy bitter; comparatively shorter finish. Full body, slick/oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Very unusual for an Imperial Stout; indeed full of cookie delight. Well done but definitely not up there with the best.
