Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of vegetal hop, pine, caramel, some pineapple and malt. Taste has soft pine, caramel, mild pineapple, onion and a bitter grassy finish. It's a bit old, but still not bad.

Small, reasonably stable yellow-cream head over finely carbonated deep cognac-brown beer. Caramelly nose, fudge, toffee, (very)sweet dessert. Bit of green leaves, wet wood, alcohol & fusels. Sweet-bitter(ish) leaves, alcohol, caramel, treacle. Preserved cherries, cherrysyrup (in the good way), dried fruit (dates?). Pralines with cherry/plums ganache. Rich, viscous, alcoholic-warming; low carbonation. Good though not stellar for such a Barley Wine. 6/4/8/4/15

330ml bottle. Hazy golden orange with a small head. Juicy tropical fruits on the nose, pineapple, mango, papaya. Taste of juicy tropical and citrus fruits, mango, grapefruit, papaya, pineapple, light sweet, low-moderate bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Great NEIPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark opaque brown pour with a big creamy tan head, aroma has big coffee, taste has coffee, smooth malts, slight nuttiness, mouthfeel is really smooth no evidence of the ABV, a delight to drink.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma is quite sweet with malt and brown sugar. Flavour is similarly sweet. Really creamy. Good body. Noce balance of bitter and sweet.

8 4 8 4 17 Draft at Flink Gegist Festival, Delft ‘18. Black with a small beige head. Aroma of light peat, oak barrel, chocolate, caramel and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.
