Nose is dark malts, molasses, coffee bean, chocolate.
Taste comprises charr, coffee, spice, dark malts.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.
Not bad but perhaps expected a little more from this brewer.

Superficial tasting from can at train on the way to Amsterdam. Sweet, dominating chocolate, some caramel, relatively camouflaged alcohol. Sweet and warming aftertaste. Not bad, but too sweet and pastry for my taste.

On tap at Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Generic ropical fruit driven, quenching and refreshing. Gentle maltiness. 747414 251109

Can. Smooth, sweet and lightly warming. Cocoa, dark chocolate, some coffee and roasted malts. A well brewed pastry stout, kind of balanced, but still too much on the sweet side. 747415 251109

Een heel bijzonder, maar als je van drop en anijs houdt een heel goed Bock bier. Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet en kruidig met veel anijs, drop, wat zoet zout salmiak en een beetje geroosterd brood. Heel goed.

Nose is chocolate, light roast, vanilla, dark malts.
Taste comprises chocolate biscuit, bitter sweet, light roast, cheesecake vibes.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Not bad.
