5oz pour in The Brewhouse, San Juan Capistrano on 27th July 2023. Very pale blonde body, crystal clear and bright, fast fading white head. Refreshing and thirst quenching, not much going on aroma or flavour wise, bit like a Kolsch.

US pint on-tap at Project Social on 14th July 2023. Clean golden body, white crown. Piney nose with a light citrus undertone, taste also resinous pine and mild citrus hoppiness, mini-malt action for a trace of sweetness, but this is all about the hops really.

Can from Gourmet Haus. Pours a hazy straw color with small white head. Guava, melon and stone fruit. A really flavorful and hoppy pale ale. Lacking much malt backbone, this is a bit like a session IPA. Really nice.

Clear yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity touch, tropical fruits, lychee, orange peel, malty backbone, a bit floral, slightly soapy, some roses and rose water, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter and dry start, good, that’s how an IPA should be! Pretty piny and resinous bitterness, slightly fruity, not much though, pretty straightforward beer. Aftertaste: very bitter, a bit alcoholic, dry and bitter finish.

Somewhat murky, thin head, quite toasty, light cocoa, medium bitterness, off-dry. Not my pocket of black ipa -too dry and not hoppy enough.
