Bottle from Rotsaert, Zedelgem, Belgium. A very dark brown coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Yeasty, malty, malty, caramel aroma and taste. Slightly acidic with a bit of a Cola thing going on throughout. Very Belgian, consumed the bottle within 10 minutes. Interesting effort from The Brew Society, only my 2nd beer from them, my first being at the Brugge beer festival back in February before the Rona struck.

Smell- medium strong, some Belgian notes, acidic, malt. Foam-thin, weak hops, weak acidic tones, alcohol. Head is medium-sized, whiter color. Sticks a bit. Appearance- beer specific bottle cap, 'sexy blond' on the cap.Clear, yellow amber, some active carbonation inside. From - snifter Taste - some Belgian yeast, a bit of caramel, some acidic tones, hops, bitterness, alcohol.Alcohol not really hidden. Feels unimpressive.

Smell- medium strong, caramel, Belgian, sweet, malt. Very pleasant. Foam-malt, sweet, acidic, some weak sourness mixed with roast, Belgian notes, and alcohol. Foam is quite small, medium-dark brown-white color. Appearance - beer specific bottle cap, with 'sexy brown' on it. From - snifter Taste - sweet, acidic, malt, caramel, Belgian yeast, alcohol. Interesting mix, like sour, acidic, roast, bitter, caramel, malt mix. Alcohol is not well hidden, and this, while interesting, does not impress me.

Bottle from Heft (Antwerp) . Pours a very dark , caramel/chocolate/oak brown, not black though, with some red shine. Small, medium low stability, off white head. Scent shows not much at all. if anything a distant hint of darker malts (brown malts, not even black). Taste is full, sweet, with a bitter touch as well. Boozy (too boozy) , relatively thin bodied (for the ABV) Medium carbonation. Not too much taste except the obvious. Nothing I can't get in a 6 ABV beer, besides its boozyness.

Hazy blond colour, white foam. Nose of grapefruit, grassy hops, some cheese. Taste is medium sweet, harsh bitter, unbalanced and a bit cheesy. Not very nice.

Nice foamy head, spicy/banana aroma, sweet and light bitter taste. A bit boring overall and too much banana for me.

33cl bottle from Spar Oostende. F: medium, pink, not long lasting. C: dark red, hazy. A: a lot of artificial cherries, sugary, syrupy sweet, red berries touch. T: full malty base, artificial red berries, cherries, very sugary sweet, soft carbonation, oh man who could love this?

Pours hazy golden with a quickly thinning white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, freshly cut yellow apple, pear, banana, hay, wheat. Taste has sweetish apple & pear, sour wheat & citrus in a yeasty, bready profile, touch of bitter hay & herbs. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, more unripe fruit & subtle spices. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Not bad per se but too often these organic beers are still too carbonated & spiced.
