Description
Brochus was established to challenge both you and ourselves. We refine our recipes until we have found the ultimate harmony between the ingredients. Only the gems are released. One-off. Every time you uncork one of our bottles, you bring a unique creation a step closer to its end. At the same time you also make it possible for us to create something new. Please note : - Black labels are brewed in Antwerp, and are extremely limited, rarely exeeding 20 bottles. - White labels ( white wrapped bottles ) are brewed at Eutropius, one of and limited, but in bigger batches, often about 2000 bottles.

Pours a clear, very dark brown. Soapy, tiny 'head' formation. Scent is fairly light, chocolate, caramel. Very bock like, though the base is a porter. Taste is full, noticable alcohol, yet not 12% (this tiny running is said to be even slightly higher ! ) woody, some bourbon, tad sharp. Some chocolate. Mild touch of carbonation, medium fullbodied. Not the most explosive or intense beer ( thats not what you love Brochus for in the firs place) yet very balanced, drinkable, and elegant - which is art at this ABV .

Red brown colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have hints of dried fruits and cherry pits. Really malty.

Sample @ 1st edition Brewver Belgian gathering, Mar 07, 2020. Thanks Erik.
Bottle 0034 of 3390.
Big gusher.

Sample @ 1st edition Brewver Belgian gathering, Mar 07, 2020. Thanks Erik.
Bottle# 019 of 404, BB 16/06/2023.
